What is purplebeck?

Purplebeck is a five-member South Korean girl group formed by Majesty Entertainment. The group debuted on June 24, 2019, with their single album Crystal Ball and title track "Crystal Ball”. The group's name, Purplebeck, is a combination of the words "Purple" and "Beckoning". "Purple" represents the color of imagination, creativity, and mystery, while "Beckoning" means to invite or summon.

The members of Purplebeck are Yerim, Mini, Stardom, Epepsi, and Seyeon. Prior to their debut, the group gained attention with their pre-debut song "Dream Line", which was released on SoundCloud. Purplebeck's music is mainly Pop-based but they showcase various genres such as Dance, Hip-hop, and R&B in their music.

Purplebeck’s agency, Majesty Entertainment, have announced that they will be returning with their second single album, “Starry Night,” which is set to be released on August 19, 2020.
