Ramires Santos do Nascimento, known simply as Ramires, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. He was born on March 24, 1987, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Ramires began his professional career with Brazilian club Joinville in 2006 before moving to Cruzeiro and then to Portugal to play for Benfica in 2009. During his time at Benfica, he helped the team win the Portuguese Primeira Liga and the Taca da Liga.

In 2010, Ramires transferred to Chelsea in the English Premier League, where he quickly established himself as a key player in the team's midfield. He played a crucial role in Chelsea's success, winning several domestic and international trophies, including the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, and League Cup.

After spending six successful years at Chelsea, Ramires transferred to Chinese Super League club Jiangsu Suning in 2016. He later returned to Brazil to play for Palmeiras in 2020 before joining Al Nassr FC in Saudi Arabia in 2021.
