The Ragdoll is a cat breed developed in the 1960s in California, USA. They are known for their floppy and relaxed nature and are often described as being "dog-like" in their behavior. Ragdolls come in six different colors - seal, blue, chocolate, lilac, red and cream - and three patterns - colorpoint, mitted and bicolor. They have long, silky fur and large, round eyes that come in shades of blue, aqua, gold and green. Ragdolls are generally quite large and can weigh anywhere between 10 to 20 pounds. They are known to be affectionate, calm, and gentle cats, making them a great choice for families with children and other pets. However, they do require regular grooming due to their long fur.
