Richarlyson Barbosa Felisbino, known simply as Richarlyson, is a retired Brazilian professional footballer. He was born on December 27, 1982, in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Richarlyson began his career with the Brazilian club Santo André in 2003. He also played for Juventude, Fortaleza, and Figueirense before signing with Sao Paulo, where he spent eight seasons and won numerous titles.
Throughout his playing career, Richarlyson was primarily a defensive midfielder but also played as a left-back and a central defender. He was known for his versatility and ability to play multiple positions. Richarlyson was also known for his physicality and toughness on the field.
During his career, Richarlyson won several titles, including three Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A titles, three Paulista championships, and the 2005 Copa Libertadores. He also represented Brazil at the youth level and won the 2003 FIFA World Youth Championship with the U-20 national team.
Richarlyson retired from football on December 16, 2021, at the age of 38.
