RK3566 is a new system-on-chip (SoC) designed and manufactured by Rockchip, a leading Chinese semiconductor company. It is a powerful and energy-efficient chip that targets mid-range and high-end multimedia applications, including smart TV, set-top box, OTT box, and AIoT devices.
RK3566 is based on a 64-bit quad-core Arm Cortex-A55 CPU architecture, running up to 2.0 GHz, combined with a Mali-G52 GPU with up to 800 MHz frequency. It supports DDR4/LPDDR4 memory, up to 8 GB, and various storage solutions, including eMMC 5.1, UFS 2.1, and SD 3.0.
