What is roboy?

Roboy is a humanoid robot developed by the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at the University of Zurich in Switzerland. The project started in 2012 and has since aimed to create an affordable and advanced humanoid robot that can interact with humans.

Roboy stands at 1.50 meters tall and has 2 arms and 2 legs, with 45 degrees of freedom that mimic human movements. It has a soft, skin-like exterior that makes it more approachable and friendly to interact with.

The robot is controlled by advanced software that utilizes artificial intelligence, machine learning, and natural language processing to understand and respond to human conversation. It is also equipped with cameras and sensors that allow it to perceive its environment and interact with objects.

Roboy's potential applications include use in healthcare, education, entertainment, and a range of other industries. The team behind the robot continues to work on advancing its technology, making it more accessible, and developing new use cases for the robot.
