What is rs2?

RS2 refers to RuneScape 2 which was the updated version of the popular MMORPG game RuneScape. It was launched on March 29, 2004, and brought many improvements to graphics, sound, and gameplay compared to the original RuneScape. It featured a new engine which allowed for a more detailed game world and allowed more players to participate in each server. The new Quest system was also introduced with RS2, where players could embark on various missions to gain experience, items, and gold. RS2 was later renamed as RuneScape HD and eventually phased out in favor of the current version of the game, RuneScape 3.
