Rutuli was an ancient Italic tribe that lived in central Italy. They are mentioned in Roman mythology as being involved in the founding of Rome. According to the legend, the Rutuli were defeated by the Trojan hero Aeneas, who then established a city that eventually became Rome. The Rutuli were known for their military prowess and were feared by their neighbors. They were also skilled metalworkers and produced high-quality bronze weapons and tools. The Rutuli culture and language were largely assimilated by the Romans, and today there is little known about them outside of ancient texts.
