What is saraperos?

Saraperos is a professional baseball team based in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico. The team was founded in 1970 and plays in the Mexican Baseball League (LMB). The team plays their home games at the Estadio Francisco I. Madero which has a seating capacity of nearly 17,000 spectators. Saraperos have won five championships in their history, with their latest championship coming in 2011. The team is known for having a passionate fan base and producing several talented players over the years. Some notable former Saraperos players include Julio Franco, Antonio Osuna, and Vinny Castilla.
