What is scariolo?

Sergio Scariolo is an Italian basketball coach and former player who is currently the head coach of the Spanish national team. He was born on April 1, 1961, in Brescia, Italy. As a player, Scariolo played as a shooting guard and small forward for various Italian teams.

Scariolo's coaching career began in 1990 when he was appointed head coach of Olimpia Milano, with whom he won four Italian league titles and two EuroLeague championships. He has also coached other European teams such as Tau Cerámica, Unicaja Málaga, and Real Madrid.
