What is seer-fish?

Seer fish, also known as kingfish or Indo-Pacific king mackerel, is a type of fish that is found in the Indian Ocean and surrounding seas. It is a popular fish for both commercial and recreational fishing.

Seer fish can grow up to 2 meters (6.6 feet) in length and can weigh up to 70 kilograms (150 pounds). They are predatory fish that feed on smaller fish, squid, and crustaceans.

The flesh of seer fish is dark and firm, with a mild, slightly sweet flavor. It is widely considered to be one of the best-tasting fish in the world, and is a popular ingredient in many cuisines in the Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.

Seer fish is a good source of protein, omega-3 fatty acids, and vitamins B12 and D. It is also low in saturated fat and calories, making it a healthy choice for people who are watching their weight or trying to maintain a healthy diet. However, like with all fish, caution must be used when consuming due to potential mercury contamination.
