What is sinophile?

A sinophile is a person who has a strong interest in or admiration for Chinese culture, history, language, or people. They may study Chinese language, literature, art, or philosophy, and may also enjoy Chinese cuisine, films, music, and other cultural aspects of China. Sinophiles may also be interested in current events and political developments in China, and may actively seek out opportunities to travel to China or interact with Chinese people. Ultimately, sinophiles seek to deepen their understanding and appreciation of all things Chinese.
