Siversk is a city in the Donetsk Oblast in eastern Ukraine. It is located about 90 km north of Donetsk and has a population of approximately 16,000 people. The city was founded in the early 17th century and was historically a center for coal mining and processing. It is also known for its cultural institutions, such as the Siversk Local History Museum and the House of Culture. In recent years, the city has been impacted by the ongoing conflict in eastern Ukraine and has suffered damage from shelling and fighting.
