Sunbury-on-Thames is a suburban village located in the borough of Spelthorne in Surrey, England. It is situated on the banks of the River Thames, approximately 19 miles southwest of central London. Sunbury-on-Thames has a rich history and boasts several historical monuments, including the Kempton Waterworks, a Victorian water pumping station, and the 18th-century Sunbury Park Mansion, which has been converted into a school. The village has a population of approximately 17,000 people and is well-served by local amenities, including shops, restaurants, pubs, and a leisure center. There are also several parks and open spaces in the area, including Sunbury Park and Kempton Nature Reserve. Sunbury-on-Thames is easily accessible by road and rail and is served by two railway stations, Sunbury and Upper Halliford.
