What is sus?

"Sus" is internet slang. Its meaning and usage depend heavily on context, but it generally conveys a sense of suspicion or that something is fishy. It's often used informally to suggest someone is acting suspiciously, or that a situation seems dubious.

The word's popularity exploded in 2020-2021, largely due to its frequent use in the video game Among Us. In that context, "sus" was used to accuse other players of being the imposter.
