What is syenogranite?

Syenogranite is a type of igneous rock that is classified as an intrusive, granitic rock. It is composed mainly of feldspar, quartz, and mica, with lesser amounts of other minerals such as hornblende or biotite. It is typically light-colored with a coarse-grained texture, and is found in a variety of geological settings, such as volcanic arcs, rift zones, and continental margins. Syenogranite forms as magma slowly cools and crystallizes beneath the Earth's surface, usually in large, intrusive bodies called plutons. It is commonly used as a building material, particularly for countertops and flooring, due to its durability and attractive appearance. It is also used in road construction and as aggregate in concrete.
