Tamasunchale is a municipality and town in the state of San Luis Potosí, Mexico. It is located in the northeastern region of the state and has a population of approximately 50,000 people. The town is known for its agricultural production of corn, beans, and fruit, as well as for its traditional huapango music and dances. Tamasunchale is also a popular destination for eco-tourists due to its natural attractions such as waterfalls, caves, and forests. The town celebrates its annual fiesta in honor of San Antonio de Padua in June, which is marked by a parade, horse races, and traditional dances.
