Faustino Hernán Asprilla Hinestroza, commonly known as Tino Asprilla, is a retired Colombian professional football player. He was born on November 10, 1969, in Tuluá, Valle del Cauca, Colombia. Asprilla started playing football at a young age and began his professional career with Cúcuta Deportivo in 1988. He rose to fame after helping Colombia reach the quarter-finals of the 1990 World Cup.
Asprilla played for several other teams during his career, including Parma, Newcastle United, and Palmeiras. He was known for his skill as a forward and his impressive speed, which made him a formidable opponent on the pitch. He is considered one of the best Colombian players of all time and was inducted into the Colombian Football Hall of Fame in 2011.
