What is trincheras?

Trincheras is a municipality located in the state of Sonora in northern Mexico. It has a population of approximately 8,000 people and covers an area of 4,772 square kilometers. The town of Trincheras is the municipal seat and is located 220 kilometers east of Hermosillo.
