What is unissonic?

Unisonic is a power metal band formed in 2011, by former Helloween members Michael Kiske (vocals) and Kai Hansen (guitar) along with Dennis Ward (bass), Mandy Meyer (guitar) and Kosta Zafiriou (drums). The band's sound combines elements of traditional power metal with melodic hard rock.

Unisonic released their self-titled debut album in 2012, which was well-received by fans and critics alike. The album featured songs such as "Unisonic" and "Never Too Late" which showcased the band's ability to deliver catchy hooks and melodic choruses.

In 2014, Unisonic released their second album, "Light of Dawn", which continued to garner positive reviews for its strong songwriting and powerful performances. The album featured tracks like "Your Time Has Come" and "Exceptional" which further solidified the band's place in the power metal scene.

Despite Hansen departing from the band in 2016, Unisonic continued to tour and released a live album, "Live in Wacken", showcasing their energetic live performances. The band has since been on hiatus, but fans continue to hope for a potential reunion in the future.
