What is verticles?

Vertices (singular: vertex) are the points where two or more line segments or edges meet in a geometrical shape or figure. They are sometimes referred to as "corners" or "intersections" of the shape. Vertices can be found in two-dimensional shapes like squares, triangles, and polygons, as well as in three-dimensional shapes like cubes, pyramids, and cylinders. The number of vertices in a shape depends on its complexity; a simple triangle has three vertices, while a complex polyhedron can have dozens or even hundreds. In the context of graph theory, vertices represent the individual elements (nodes) in a graph.
