Vidheyan (Malayalam: വിധേയന്, meaning "The Servile") is a 1994 Indian Malayalam-language film directed by Adoor Gopalakrishnan. It is an adaptation of the Malayalam novel Thoma Parva by Zacharia.
The film explores themes of <a href="https://www.wikiwhat.page/kavramlar/power%20dynamics">power dynamics</a>, <a href="https://www.wikiwhat.page/kavramlar/oppression">oppression</a>, and the <a href="https://www.wikiwhat.page/kavramlar/abuse%20of%20authority">abuse of authority</a> through the story of Thommy, a poor farmer who becomes completely subservient to a tyrannical landlord, Bhaskara Patelar.
