What is warpick?

A war pick is a type of weapon designed for use in medieval warfare. It is essentially a pickaxe with a sharpened tip that is designed for piercing armor and helmets. It is commonly used by infantry and knights in close combat against armored opponents. The war pick was often used to make penetrating thrusts to critical areas of an enemy's armor, such as joints or gaps between pieces, making it an effective weapon against heavily armored opponents. Some versions may also incorporate a hammerhead or spike on the opposite side, adding versatility to the weapon. War picks were commonly used during the medieval period and sometimes up until the Renaissance era.
