What is yatzi?

Yatzi, also known as Yahtzee, is a popular dice game played worldwide. It was first introduced in 1956 and is now a trademark of Hasbro, Inc. The game consists of rolling five dice to create certain combinations and score points. Some of the possible combinations include three of a kind, full house, three pairs, four of a kind, and yatzi (five of a kind).

Each player takes turns rolling the dice up to three times, and can choose to keep some dice and re-roll the others. After each turn, the player must choose a category to score the results in. The game ends after all the categories have been scored and the player with the highest total score wins.

Yatzi can be played with two or more players and can be a fun game for all ages. It requires strategy and luck, and can be played in a casual or competitive setting. There are also electronic versions of the game available for mobile devices and online play.
