What is zerbert?

A zerbert, also known as a raspberry, is a sound made by blowing air through tightly closed lips so that they vibrate against the skin. This produces a tickling sensation and a sound that is similar to a fart. It is often used as a playful gesture, especially with children, and can also be used to express humor, affection, or annoyance. Zerberts are believed to have originated in the early 20th century and have since become a common part of popular culture, especially in comedy and children's entertainment.
