What is axises?

Axes refer to the plural of "axis," which is a straight line around which a body or object rotates or revolves. There are three major axes in the human body: the longitudinal, transverse, and frontal axes. The longitudinal axis is a line that runs vertically through the body and passes through the head and feet. The transverse axis is an imaginary line that runs horizontally through the body and passes through the belly button. The frontal axis is a line that runs perpendicular to the longitudinal and transverse axes and goes from side to side. In a graph, there are two axes: the x-axis, which is horizontal, and the y-axis, which is vertical. Together, they form a coordinate system used to plot data points and draw graphs.
