What is bulgargaz?

Bulgargaz is the largest state-owned natural gas company in Bulgaria. It was founded in 1968 and is responsible for the import, storage, and distribution of natural gas in the country. The company operates a pipeline network of over 2,500 kilometers and a range of storage facilities with a total capacity of 3.3 billion cubic meters. Bulgargaz is also responsible for the purchase and sale of natural gas in Bulgaria, both for industrial and residential use. The company has partnerships with major gas suppliers, including Gazprom and RWE, and is a member of the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Gas (ENTSOG). Its headquarters are located in Sofia, Bulgaria.
