What is calorifere?

Calorifere is a term used to describe a type of radiator or heating system that is typically found in older buildings and homes. These radiators are usually made of cast iron or steel, and they rely on convection to heat a room.

Calorifere radiators work by heating up the metal within the unit, which in turn heats the air around the radiator. As the air heats up, it rises and circulates around the room, providing heat throughout the space. Some calorifere radiators also have fins or other design features on the surface of the metal to increase their heating efficiency.

One advantage of calorifere radiators is that they can provide a steady, consistent source of heat throughout a room. They are also relatively durable and long-lasting, and can be easily repaired or replaced if necessary. However, they can be quite heavy and bulky, and may not be suitable for smaller spaces or modern interiors.
