What is carambars?

Carambars are a type of chewy caramel candy that originate from France. They were first created in 1954 and have become very popular in Europe. Carambars are made from a mixture of sugar, glucose syrup, and milk that is boiled until it reaches the desired consistency. They often come in a long, thin, rectangular shape and are wrapped in yellow and red wax paper. Carambars are known for their unique and sometimes quirky packaging - each candy comes with a joke or riddle printed on the inside of the wrapper, making them a popular choice for children. Some popular flavors include classic caramel, chocolate, and fruit flavors like orange and cherry.
