What is complicit?

Complicit refers to being involved in or accomplice to wrongdoing or unethical behavior. It can describe someone who is aware of illegal or immoral acts being committed by others but fails to report them or takes part in them knowingly. Complicity can also refer to a more passive involvement, such as benefiting from the consequences of wrongdoing or turning a blind eye to it. The term is often used in legal and moral contexts to hold individuals or organizations accountable for actions that harm others.
