What is dinosaurio?

"Dinosaurio" is the Spanish word for "dinosaur." Dinosaurs were a diverse group of reptiles that lived during the Mesozoic Era, which spanned from about 252 million years ago to 66 million years ago. They were the dominant land animals during this time period and evolved into a wide range of shapes and sizes.

Dinosaurs are divided into two main groups: the Saurischia (lizard-hipped dinosaurs) and the Ornithischia (bird-hipped dinosaurs). Some of the most well-known dinosaurs include the Tyrannosaurus rex, Triceratops, Stegosaurus, and Velociraptor.

Dinosaurs went extinct around 66 million years ago, likely due to a combination of factors including a massive asteroid impact, volcanic eruptions, and climate change. However, their descendants, birds, still thrive on Earth today. Dinosaurs continue to fascinate people of all ages and have played a significant role in popular culture, science, and education.
