What is faecal?

faecal (also spelled fecal) refers to the waste material that is excreted from the body through the anus. It is made up of undigested food particles, water, protein, bacteria, and other substances. The color, texture, and odor of faecal matter can vary depending on the individual's diet, hydration level, and health status. Normal faecal matter should be brown, soft, and easy to pass out of the body. However, changes in bowel habits or the appearance of faecal matter can be a sign of underlying digestive problems, infections, or other health issues that require medical attention. Proper hygiene practices, such as washing hands after using the toilet and avoiding contact with faecal matter, are important for preventing the spread of disease-causing pathogens.
