What is fanhouse?

Fanhouse was a subscription-based platform launched by the creators of the popular newsletter service, Substack. It allowed creators to offer exclusive content, interact with their fans, and build a community around their work. Fanhouse aimed to provide a space for creators to monetize their content and connect with their most dedicated supporters.

However, Fanhouse announced in August 2021 that they would be shutting down due to challenges in scaling the platform and competing with other similar services. The platform discontinued new sign-ups and stated that existing creators would be able to continue using the service until October 1, 2021. After this date, all content on Fanhouse would no longer be accessible to users.
