What is fizi?

Fizi is a district in the South Kivu province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is known for its lush vegetation, diverse wildlife, and beautiful landscapes. The district is home to several ethnic groups, including the Bembe, Tembo, and Nande people.

Fizi is situated on the shores of Lake Tanganyika, one of the largest lakes in Africa. The area is rich in natural resources, including minerals such as gold, tin, and coltan, as well as fertile soil for agriculture.
