What is goku?

Goku, born Kakarot, is the main protagonist of the Dragon Ball franchise created by Akira Toriyama. He is a Saiyan originally sent to Earth as an infant to destroy it, but a head injury altered his memory, causing him to grow up with a pure heart and become Earth's greatest defender.

Goku's defining characteristic is his insatiable desire to become stronger. This drives him to constantly train and seek out powerful opponents. He is known for his unwavering optimism, his forgiving nature, and his love of a good fight. He often spares his enemies, hoping they will become stronger and provide him with a greater challenge in the future.

Goku possesses incredible strength, speed, and endurance. He is also a master of martial arts and can manipulate ki, a form of life energy, to perform various techniques. Some of his most iconic techniques include the Kamehameha, Spirit Bomb, and Instant Transmission. He also has the ability to transform into a Super Saiyan, unlocking even greater levels of power.

He is married to Chi-Chi and has two sons, Gohan and Goten. Goku's relationships with his family and friends are important to him, although his dedication to training often takes precedence.
