What is intrinsically?

Intrinsically means in a natural or inherent way, without being influenced or motivated by external factors. Something that is intrinsically motivated is something that someone does for the sheer joy and satisfaction of doing it, rather than for any external rewards or incentives. For example, a writer who loves to write because they enjoy the process of creating something new is intrinsically motivated, while a writer who writes only for the money or fame that could come as a result is extrinsically motivated. Similarly, someone who likes to exercise because they find it relaxing and energizing is intrinsically motivated, while someone who only exercises to lose weight or build muscle is extrinsically motivated. Intrinsic motivation is often considered more powerful and long-lasting than extrinsic motivation, as it comes from within and reflects a genuine interest and passion for the activity.
