What is japamalas?

Japamalas are traditional Hindu and Buddhist prayer beads used for meditation and recitation of mantras. They are made of different types of materials including sandalwood, wood, seeds, crystals, and gemstones, and generally consist of 108 beads with a guru bead and a tassel.

The act of reciting mantras while moving the beads through one's fingers helps channel one's thoughts and energy into a meditative state. Japamalas are often used in daily practice and can be used to enhance focus, clear the mind, and cultivate inner peace and spiritual connection.

In addition to their spiritual significance, japamalas can also be used as a source of inspiration and fashion accessory. They come in a variety of designs and styles, and can be worn as bracelets, necklaces, or hanging decorations.
