What is litl?

Litl is a technology company based in Boston, Massachusetts that specializes in developing innovative products for the digital home. The company was founded in 2007 by John Chuang and Sami Inkinen. Its first product was the litl webbook, a simplified netbook that ran a customized version of Linux and had a unique interface that focused on web content and apps.

In addition to the webbook, litl has also developed other digital products, such as the litl TV, a small set-top box that connects to a TV and provides access to web content and apps, and the litl remote, a simplified remote control that is designed to work with the litl TV.

Litl's products are known for their user-friendly interfaces and minimalist design. The company's philosophy is to create products that are easy to use and help people connect with the digital world in a more meaningful way. Litl has won several design awards for its products, including the Red Dot Design Award and the Good Design Award.

As of 2021, litl no longer sells its webbook or TV products, and the company has shifted its focus to developing software and services for digital home devices.
