What is nawras?

Nawras is a telecommunications company based in Oman. It was founded in 2004 and started its operations in 2005, becoming the second mobile network operator in Oman after Oman Mobile. Nawras offers a wide range of products and services, including mobile phone services, fixed-line services, broadband internet, and enterprise solutions. The company has more than 2.3 million customers and employs over 1,600 people. In 2015, Nawras was acquired by Ooredoo, a Qatar-based telecommunications company, which operates in several countries in the Middle East, North Africa, and Southeast Asia.
