What is nephelo?

Nephelometry is a laboratory technique that measures the amount of cloudiness, or turbidity, in a solution. This is done by passing a beam of light through the solution and measuring the amount of light that is scattered by the suspended particles in the solution. Nephelometry is used in a variety of fields, including pharmaceuticals, environmental monitoring, and protein chemistry, to measure the concentration of proteins, bacteria, and other particles in a sample. It is particularly useful for measuring small concentrations of these particles, as it is highly sensitive and accurate. Nephelometry is often used in conjunction with other analytical techniques, such as spectrophotometry and chromatography, to provide a more complete picture of the characteristics of a particular sample.
