Paul Wylie is a former American figure skater who competed at the Olympics and World Championships. He was born on October 28, 1964, in Dallas, Texas, and started skating when he was six years old. Wylie won the U.S. National Figure Skating Championships in 1992 and won the silver medal at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France. He also won the bronze medal at the 1989 World Figure Skating Championships. After retiring from competitive skating, Wylie became a professional skater and toured with various ice shows. He also earned a degree in political science from Harvard University. Wylie is known for his elegant skating style and his signature move, the Wylie jump, which involves a flying camel spin followed by a triple flip jump.
