What is pinoy?

"Pinoy" is a colloquial term used to refer to Filipinos or people of Filipino descent. It originates from the combination of two words: "Pinoy" which is a slang term for a Filipino person, and "-y" which is a common suffix added to names or terms of endearment in the Philippines.

Filipinos are known for their warm hospitality, strong family ties, and love for food and celebrations. They also have a rich cultural heritage, influenced by both indigenous traditions and centuries of colonization by Spain, the United States, and other countries.
