What is pogonophile?

A pogonophile is a person who is intensely interested in and attracted to beards. They admire facial hair and often prefer partners who have a beard or mustache. Pogonophiles are typically drawn to the aesthetic appeal of beards and find them to be a symbol of masculinity and ruggedness. Some pogonophiles even participate in beard grooming and care, either for themselves or for their partners. The term "pogonophile" comes from the Greek words "pogon" meaning beard and "philia" meaning love or fondness.
