What is quesedilas?

Quesadillas are a traditional Mexican dish consisting of a tortilla filled with melted cheese and other ingredients, such as chicken, beans, vegetables or meat. The tortilla is typically folded in half and toasted or fried until crispy. Quesadillas can be served as a snack, appetizer or main course and are often accompanied by salsa, guacamole, or sour cream. They are popular not only in Mexico, but also throughout Central and South America and in many parts of the United States. Quesadillas are often indulgent comfort food, but can also be a healthy option if filled with nutritious ingredients and served with fresh toppings.
