What is rbe?

RBE can refer to two different concepts:

  1. Resource-Based Economy: A resource-based economy is an economic system that is based on natural resources and technological efficiency, rather than on consumerism and profit. The movement for a resource-based economy advocates for the sustainable use of resources, a shift away from fossil fuels, and a focus on creating an economy that meets human needs while respecting ecological limits. The Venus Project is a well-known organization that promotes this economic model.

  2. Research-Based Education: Research-based education (RBE) is an approach to teaching and learning that focuses on using current research findings to inform educational practices. RBE involves utilizing evidence-based instructional strategies, engaging in continuous professional development, and collecting and analyzing data to improve student learning outcomes. The goal of RBE is to ensure that educators are using the most effective methods to support student success.
