What is shaylas?

Shaylas are a type of traditional headscarf worn by Muslim women. They are typically made from lightweight fabrics such as cotton or silk, and are rectangular in shape, measuring roughly 3 feet by 6 feet.

Shaylas are draped over the head and shoulders, and are often pinned at the temples or under the chin to keep them in place. Some women choose to wear a second scarf underneath for extra coverage.

While shaylas are often worn for religious or cultural reasons, they can also be a fashionable accessory. They come in a variety of colors and patterns, and can be styled in different ways depending on personal preference. In some countries, such as Saudi Arabia, there are specific regulations on how shaylas should be worn in public.
