What is spiderpunk?
Spider-Punk, also known as Hobart Brown, is a British, anarchist version of Spider-Man from Earth-138. He first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 3 #10 in 2014.
- Origin: Hobart Brown was a homeless teenager living in New York City during the oppressive regime of President Norman Osborn (who uses V.E.N.O.M. to control the city). He was bitten by a spider irradiated by Osborn's toxic waste, giving him his powers.

- Appearance: Spider-Punk sports a distinctive look. He has a denim vest with patches, a spiked mask, and a mohawk. He often uses his guitar as a weapon.
- Anarchist Ideals: A core component of Spider-Punk's character is his dedication to anarchist principles. He fights against authoritarianism and oppressive systems, using punk rock aesthetics and music as a form of rebellion. He believes in empowering the people and dismantling unjust power structures.
- Spider-Punk's Universe (Earth-138): On Earth-138, many familiar Marvel characters have punk rock-themed counterparts. For example, Captain Anarchy is the Earth-138 version of Captain America.
- Notable Storylines: He played a significant role in the Spider-Verse event, uniting with other Spider-People to combat the Inheritors. He has also appeared in his own solo series, further exploring his fight against oppression and his punk rock revolution.
- Allies: He has teamed up with other Spider-People such as Spider-Man and Spider-Gwen. He is a strong leader and a powerful ally in the fight against interdimensional threats.
- Enemies: His primary enemies are the forces of Norman Osborn's regime, as well as any other oppressive figures who seek to control and exploit others.
