What is tlr1000?

The Suzuki TL1000R (TLR1000) is a full-faired, sport motorcycle manufactured by Suzuki from 1998 to 2003. It was designed to compete with other large displacement V-twin sportbikes such as the Ducati 996 and Honda RC51. The TLR1000 features a liquid-cooled, 996cc V-twin engine that produces approximately 135 horsepower. It also has a 6-speed transmission, inverted front forks, and a rear monoshock suspension. The bike has a top speed of around 168 mph and can accelerate from 0-60 mph in approximately 2.8 seconds. The TLR1000 was well-known for its aggressive styling and unique rotary damper rear suspension system, which was intended to reduce the amount of squat during hard acceleration. Despite its engineering innovations, the TLR1000 was met with mixed reviews due to its high weight, limited handling capabilities, and tendency to snap into wild wheelies.
