What is vaw-113?

VAW-113 is a United States Navy squadron, which is also known as the "Black Eagles". The squadron was established on July 20th, 1967, and is based at the Naval Air Station Point Mugu, California. The primary mission of VAW-113 is to provide airborne early warning, command and control, and surface surveillance capabilities in support of fleet operations.
