What is vlmairlines?

VLM Airlines was a Belgian airline that operated scheduled and charter flights primarily within Europe. The airline was founded in 1992 and was originally known as "Vlaamse Luchttransportmaatschappij," before changing its name to VLM Airlines in 1993.

VLM Airlines had a fleet of various aircraft types, including Fokker 50 and Airbus A320 planes. The airline operated a number of routes from its base at Antwerp International Airport, as well as from other airports in Belgium and the Netherlands.

In 2018, VLM Airlines declared bankruptcy and ceased operations. However, in 2019, a new company called VLM Airlines Ltd was established, with plans to resume flights with a focus on regional routes within Europe. As of 2021, the airline is not currently active and it is unclear if or when it will resume operations.
